Chapter 4 - Everything is going wrong.

"So, replace the toilet, and the first time it gets used, it clogs!" Laura shouted at the toilet, armed with a plunger and not afraid to use it. Success! She unclogged the toilet, but promptly broke the shower! A few choice words escaped her mouth, leaving the shower to sprinkle the bathroom merrily while she got ready for the rest of her day.

Before long, it was time for her gig at the coffee house, hoping whichever deity that oversaw Starlight Shores would make it go smoothly for her. Unfortunately, that didn't work, and Laura finally managed to trip onto the stage 5 minutes late, only to find the grand total of three people waiting for her, and the properteir reading her book, once again. Laura ploughed on, determined to make it a good concert, until she got the reviews afterwards.

It was a flop. however, that didn't stop Laura from singing for tips, bringing in more money than the gig did, but she didn't see the one person she had hoped to see. She tried not to let it get to her, but the listeners could see that she wasn't on top of her game, despite the tips being quite large.

Laura returned home, defeated after the long day, but desperately needing a shower. She managed to fix it, and got her shower before falling into bed once more. 

Sunday had finally rolled around, and to celebrate the day she finally got paid, Laura invited Harmon Goth round to get to know him more. He agreed, and was around practically before Laura had even hung up the phone on him.

They greeted rather enthusiastically, and talked and played on the guitar for a while, but as soon as Laura tried to take it further by stripping to her underwear, Harmon left, leaving Laura to wonder what she had done wrong, and if she was ever going to find love.

Laura's generation goal is hobby/obsession, which is where the guitar comes in. But as it is quite "boring" looking at pictures of someone playing the guitar, I'll be skipping it out and just mentioning it every so often.

Harmon really did just walk out on her after she tried to use "try for baby" with him. I followed him to see where he was going, but after a while it looked like he wasn't going anywhere, so went back and found Laura staring out of the window as if to see where he went. I think Hermon is a lost cause, but I'll see where it takes me.
